This movie is from a research trip from Santa Barbara Harbor to Anacapa Island aboard the NOAA Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary boat Shearwater. It includes scuba diving, Santa Barbara Channelkeeper and Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History research work, and dolphins.

When viewing this clip, I find it fascinating to hear and see the dolphins swimming, leaping, squealing, and taking breaths close to the bow of the boat. It is interesting to observe dolphin behavior that I did not notice at the time. On our way back to the harbor, there was a beautiful sailing event taking place. The Santa Barbara Channel Islands are a wonderful place to visit. It was a nice trip.
