Wildflowers at Figueroa Mountain Wildflower display at Figueroa Mountain Chocolate Lily
2008 was a great year for wildflowers at Figueroa Mountain. There were many Chocolate Lilies at the meadow. The smell of the pines and flowers before the dirt road leading to the top was just as amazing as the sight of the Lupine and California Poppy display. Slideshow — April 6, 2008.

Figueroa Mountain — March 28, 2004
Wildflowers and mountain vistas in Santa Barbara County. Kate, Kendy, and I had a nice spring road trip. They gave me a wonderful introduction to the Figueroa Mountain area. It is a good idea to bring a flower field guide—and it does not hurt to have friends who are biologists or naturalists.
