Yankee Farm Garden
Garden and Farmers Market photographs from 2005 through 2007.
Yankee Farm, August–December 2007

There were many flowers in the ground this time of year. Paperwhites (Narcissus tazetta) had finished, but the beds were full of leaves. Onions were growing, and foxgloves and stock were blooming. Watsonia, Canterbury bells, Linaria, and other flowers were on their way. Most greens grew beneath row covers, which protected them from White-crowned Sparrows. Cole crops and beets were nearly finished.
